Eve Before We Leave

The night before we leave, and we are excited, nervous and all the rest of the emotions in between. This will be the longest I will be away from home ever! I’m going to miss my grandchildren but how cool is FaceTime?!

Have our sticker on the back of the pop up so we can add the states we visit as we go along on our trip.
ALL MY BAGS ARE PACKED, I'M READY TO GO.....

10 Days To Go!
We are down to the wire and with our new cover we had made for the camper and most of our bags packed, we are really excited to start our road trip.

24 Days To Go!

24 Days To Go!
I can't wait to head out of New England - to leave this snow! Still waiting for a nice enough day to get the canvas top put on our camper and start to pack the inside with some of the stuff I have spread out all over my office floor.
We purchased a box from LL Bean for the back of the pop up to hold the items we will need to have access to when we pull into the campgrounds. Chocks, tools, emergency road items...
Tom has a steel frame welded to hold the box which works really well.
The second purchase we made was the Mr. Heater Portable Buddy Propane Heater. When we saw the night weather temperature at several of the campgrounds we will be staying at, we decided to add this to our list of things to bring!
"This easy-to-use heater utilizes a large heating surface to heat up to 225 square feet for up to 110 hours. Fold-down handle for easier storage and key-shaped mounting holes for easy wall mounting make it easy to find the perfect spot for this compact heater. The swivel-out fuel connection makes the hooking up either of a 1 lb. disposable propane cylinder or a hose from a 20 lb tank quick and easy. The heater's four position control features a built-in Piezo igniter and two heat settings (4000 or 9000 BTU per hour) to give you a single control for ignition and heat control."
