May 1 Country Acres

After leaving Valley Forge we checked into our campsite at Country Acres in Gordonville, PA. Lovely and clean with nice bathrooms and showers. The only down side is it’s off a main road, so traffic noise. But we were only there one night so not a big deal. The next morning before we checked out we did a 2 hour Amish Country free tour booked through the campground. Such a lovely time and our driver was very knowledgeable about the area, history and culture of the Amish people. We stopped a couple of places and we got a delicious ice cream at one of their farms and amazing peanut butter cookies.
