After a cold and rainy night we are headed out by 6:45. Stopped for coffee and now heading to Beals Point in Granite Bay CA. Pretty drive. Then we will visit Michele and Jim. The sun is out but only 42° right now.
We arrived at the campground around 1:00 after stopping to do laundry. This is a state park and very nice. Well kept and clean. Sites are spread out and clean. Restrooms and showers were very nice. Did have to pay for showers but only 50 cents for 4 minutes.
We set up and headed to Micki’s house in Sacramento, about 20 minuets from campground. It’s 70’s and sunny. So wonderful to see Micki and Jim and their home is lovely. She prepared a delicious meal of meatball soup, salads, appetizers, fruit and cookies. We left a little before dusk with a goodie bag from Micki and Jim. Drove back to campground for the night.
